PUNCTUATIONS
Punctuations are used to mark the different sections within a sentence or to end a sentence.

Punctuations
Colon, Comma, Semicolon, Question Mark, Inverted Commas, Quotations, Exclamation Mark
  1. Colon(:) - Ex: There are two main shopping areas in Nottingham: Broadmarsh Centre and Victoria Centre
  2. Comma(,) - Ex: There were a lot of people in the room: teachers, students and parents
  3. Semicolon(;) - Ex: I'm looking forward to our next lesson; I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.
  4. Question mark(?) - Ex: What is your name ?
  5. Inverted Commas(') - Ex: Alexander Dumas completed his sequel to 'The Three Musketeers'
  6. Quotations(") - Ex: "Could everyone sit down please," said the teacher.
  7. Exclamation mark(!) - Ex: It was shocking!
